1. What Frontier is

Frontier is a free, non-profit, fan-run World of Warcraft private server. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Blizzard Entertainment. World of Warcraft and all related names and content are trademarks and copyrights of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.

Frontier has no shop, no donations for items or services, and no paid advantages of any kind. Nothing on the server can be bought.

2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or logging in you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the server.

3. Accounts

• One person may hold at most two accounts.
• Multiboxing is not allowed: you may never have characters from both accounts in combat at the same time, in PvP or PvE.
• You are responsible for your account and password. Do not share them.
• Accounts, characters and items have no monetary value and remain part of the server; you may not sell, buy or trade them for real money or for anything outside the game.
• Inactive accounts are not closed.

4. Fair play

The following are not allowed and may lead to a warning, suspension or permanent ban:

• Cheats, hacks, bots, automation, packet editing, speed/teleport/fly hacks, or any third-party program that gives an unfair advantage. (Normal UI addons are fine.)
• Exploiting bugs on purpose, or not reporting a serious exploit you found. Report bugs in Discord #bug-reports.
• Real-money trading of gold, items, characters or services.
• Harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, or impersonating staff.
• Spamming or advertising other servers.
• Account sharing or account trading.
• Deliberately disrupting other players beyond normal PvP-realm play. World PvP itself is part of the realm.

Staff decide what counts as a violation. Serious cases may be acted on without prior warning.

5. Beta test

During the beta, the server is a test environment. Characters, items and progress may be wiped at any time during the beta, and everything — accounts, characters, gold and items — is wiped before launch. Features, rates and balance will change. Beta-only services (boosts, gear vendors, teleports) will not exist on the live realm.

6. Availability and changes

The server is provided as is, without any guarantee of uptime, data retention or fitness for any purpose. We may change, pause or shut down the server, roll back data, or change game content at any time.

7. Your data

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Client and launcher

The Frontier launcher and patch files only update the game client to work with Frontier. You need your own copy of the World of Warcraft 3.3.5a client. Use the launcher and patches at your own risk.

9. Enforcement and appeals

Bans and suspensions may be appealed on our Discord: a private channel is opened between you and the moderators/admins to review the case. Staff decisions after an appeal are final.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
