  • The beta opens on 15 October 2026, and registration and the launcher open the same day.
  • Anyone can join.
  • Break things now, so they do not break at launch on 28 November.
  • Everything is wiped before launch.

Your first ten minutes

Create a character

The eight vanilla races and nine vanilla classes. Paladin: Human or Dwarf. Shaman: Orc, Tauren or Troll.

Set your XP rate

.xp shows it, .xp set 1 to .xp set 50 changes it (1 = plain vanilla). New characters start at 3×. Hunter pets level at your rate.

Go to the capital

A Beta Courier in every starting zone sends you to Stormwind (Trade District) or Orgrimmar (Valley of Strength).

Find the Beta NPCs

They stand by the mailbox there, all named “Beta …”.

Test anything, at any level.

Beta Booster

Skip the levelling

Boosts you up to level 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 or 60: 10,000 gold per boost, bags, class spells, weapon skills and the class-quest rewards. A mount at 40, an epic mount at 60, every flight path of your faction.

Every class spell for your level, free. Resets your talents.

Crafting to the cap

Learn a profession and raise it to the cap for your level, up to Artisan (300), with recipes. Two main professions.

Levelling and pre-raid gear, one window per armor or weapon type.

The basics

Bags, ammo, reagents, poisons, food.

  • Class quests come with the boost. Warriors get every stance, warlocks every demon with their Grimoires and 3 Soul Shards, hunters Tame Beast and Call Pet, druids their forms, shamans their totems.
  • A boost only goes up and cannot be undone.
  • Beta NPCs do not exist on the live realm.

Report a bug

One bug, one post.

Post in #bug-reports on our Discord. The login message says so too. There are no in-game GM tickets.

  • When: date and time, with your time zone.
  • Who: character name, race, class, level.
  • Where: zone, NPC or spell.
  • What: what you did, what you expected, what happened.
  • Screenshot: for a tooltip or a number, the tooltip itself.

Good to know

Wipes

Characters may be wiped during the beta. Everything — accounts, characters, gold, items — is wiped before launch.

Saves

Every 5 minutes. A crash can cost up to five minutes of progress.

Commands

Players have exactly one command: .xp. Nothing else, and no game-master commands.

Rated Warsong Gulch needs 8 players a side, so a match may be slow to start while few people queue.
